The OCC Silver Dart Graphene is the culmination of 3 years development and testing using our H-Wound™ stranding technique on large gauge conductors coupled with our newly developed Graphene doped conductive dielectric. Utilizing our H-Wound™ stranding each power core is guaranteed “Zero Strand Loss” during assembly as the final horizontal silver OCC layer not only allows for perfect pitch across the conductors but also acts as a barrier layers to prevent fallen or clipped strands during the assembly process. What this means is 100% identical cores before they are hand assembled with our custom audio connectors.

UltraSonic 7 High Voltage / Thermal Break-in

This is a two-stage process. In the first stage we draw the bare conductor through a ceramic die into an ultrasonic cleaning chamber that bombards the conductor with multiple ultrasonic frequencies. This emulsification process removes all debris from the surface of the wire down to the molecular level and leaves absolutely zero residues. After each individual wire is processed, we strand it into bundles and then subject the bundles to further treatment. During the second stage of the ultrasonic burn-in, we increase the voltage to a higher level that’s just below the threshold of the conductor. This adjustment in temperature allows us to get a unique “break-in effect” normally associated with cables that have had 30 to 40 hours of signal and/or current run through them.

Zavfino’s H-Wound™ + Zero Strand Loss:

Drawing on more than 18 years of manufacturing experience, Zavfino has developed a remarkable new technique for twisting stranded wire tightly around a central solid-core conductor. An electrical phenomenon commonly known as the “skin effect” occurs when electrons move through any solid core conductor. Higher frequencies travel along the outside (the skin) of the conductor faster than midrange and lower echelon frequencies. This results in smeared PRaT, muddled instrumental timbres, and an unnatural sound. Zavfino’s new H-Wound™ manufacturing technique negates the skin effect. Originally developed by OEMs Siemens and Klangfilm, Zavfino uses a customized transformer wire-stranding machine. We further modified the gears in this machinery to create windings at a slower RPM ratio with a much tighter pitch. This patented manufacturing process enables us to twist the wiring at the tightest pitch possible without overlapping the wire strands. Most wire-stranding machines can only fabricate windings up to a maximum of 300 twists per meter. Setting the bar far higher, Zavfino’s patented H-Wound™ cable winding machine creates a pitch rate of 14,000 to 16,000 twists per meter; which is unmatched by any other audiophile cable maker. Zavfino’s new Zero Strand Loss™ manufacturing technique protects the bundled conductors from being damaged during stripping and termination. By ensuring that each core has zero chipped, cut, or mangled strands, we can guarantee that each insulated core is 100% identical. For audiophiles, the sonic results of tighter windings and Zero Strand Loss™ conductors are cables with quieter backgrounds, remarkable timbral accuracy, lifelike PRaT, jaw dropping mid-range resolution, and superior low frequency extension. Deep Cryo™ Treatment
All of the conductors used in our cables undergo Deep Cryo™ treatment before the insulation is extruded over the metals. Our research has proven that the conductor—and only the conductor— benefits from cryo-treatment. Materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC™), Teflon™, PE, and Silicon™ can all be adversely affected by cold-temperature annealing. Cryo-treating non-conductors and insulating materials can cause them to break down and become brittle.
The purity, size, and molecular structure of each conductor determine the specific temperature within the -186ºC to - a 196ºC range that we cryo-treat it at. Zavfino’s research into cold temperature physics has proven that the absolute lowest temperature is not necessarily the best for cryo-treatment.

What is Zavfino ZGRAPh-LDP GRAPHENE ?
Zavfino is the first audiophile cable OEM to integrate graphene insulation into high-end A/C power cables as a dielectric shield. After more than two years in development with a leading American graphene polymer research company, we’re proud to unveil our new proprietary ZGRAPh-LDPTM conductive shielding/dielectric, first used within our Silver DartTM OCC A/C power cable.

The results of using ZGRAPh-LDPTM

Why Zavfino’s Graphene outperforms traditional shielding:

Electromagnetic theory stipulates that a signal inside of a closed electromagnetic eld cannot be a ected by interference from an outside source.

Traditional dielectric insulation that uses braided Copper (Cu) or Mylar shields cannot ensure a perfectly closed eld. Copper braids and Mylar wraps both have gaps between their overlaid bundles and layers which inherently occur during manufacturing. Low frequency interference and high frequency noise will slip through these gaps and cause electromagnetic contamination and sonic degradation.

Zavfino’s primary goal is to keep any and all EM interference away from the signal’s transmission path.

By utilizing our extrudable graphene polymer jacket over the shield, our new ZGRAPh-LDP cover solves a myriad of electrical problems which braided shielding innately causes.

Our graphene dielectric ensures 100% coverage as it moulds itself to the traditional shield and drain of the cable. In effect, this creates a perfectly closed electromagnetic field.

Silver Dart XLR - Ultra Neutral rich tone and timbre lifelike vocals

First of all, I’m amazed at how well built these cables are. These are the most rugged durable construction, as well as appealing. I have a pair of a Inakustik NF-2404 air pure silver XLR and Luminist Neptune XLR also in the 2-4K range all well built, but these are built the best. Inakustik next and Neptune last.

From a sound perspective they are the most neutral, not emphasizing any particular frequency, but bringing them through crystal clear with the tightest bass. They’re not over analytical. They are very musical.

The Inakustik are ultra transparent, so I have them connected from the DAC to the preamp. I have the Zavfino connected from the preamp to the monoblock amps. I rotated through all three in various configurations and the most natural, transparent and musical combination would be the silver dart between the preamp and the amplifier, and the Inakustik between the preamp and the DAC. The Neptune is a great cable, biggest and deepest sound stage of all three then comes the Zavfino followed by the Inakustik. The Neptune would be the most warm tube like and lifelike in the vocals but a little too heavy on the bass, not quite as transparent as either of the others. So depending on your system, your speakers, tonality of your equipment and how you’re trying to tweak the sound you can rotate the cables your own way.

For reference I have the newest Legacy Focus SE speakers the Legacy Wavelet I preamp, PS Audio direct stream DAC MkI, and the PS Audio M1200 mono blocks. I now know I am getting the absolute max out of my system. I have upgraded from Audioquest cables and there is a real audible improvement in overall clarity no smear, no rolloffs no mud - ultra purity and all of it. For those who don’t believe you probably don’t have a resolving system that would let you hear the differences and that’s ok just don’t waste money on expensive cables work on core upgrades.

I have only one beef with the Zavfino, the XLR and connectors on one of them seem to be upside down in relation to the Natural curve of the cable itself, which is not reversible. I made it work however.

I worked with Ray over at Zavfino for the purchase. He was responsive professional gave good advice and helped me find a nice pair of demos at a small discount I very much appreciate.

Zavfino Cables and Power Cords

Over a year ago I purchased a set of Zavfino 12 AWG OCC Jumpers with 24k Gold Spades to replace my 16awg jumpers for my B&W 801 D3's - I had investigated several different cable manufactures, however was intrigued with the process Zavfino does with its cables and that they use OCC copper/silver that is Cryo™ treated. Knew that larger gauged jumpers would be ideal - Zavfino did not disappoint.

Then in late 2024 I purchased one of their OCC Silver Dart Graphene Insulated Power Cable with an IEC 20-amp end. I wanted to replace the 14 awg power cord on my Moon Titian amp. I immediately noticed a difference, there was a deep dark sound presence that was very clear and precise. In addition, I had to lower my listening decibels from 50db to 40db - very impressed! I would recommend this cable for power amps or subwoofers.

So in December I ordered the following:

With all these cables installed my system was transformed to the extreme from the bass to treble being clear, clean, and tight. On certain tracks I could hear singers breathing to crisp suttle sounds from instruments that I did not hear before - the sound stage is very impressive especially at lower decibels the clarity and tightness of the sound is phenomenal whether I am streaming, playing CD's, or vinyl records. In the near future, I will be purchasing another pair of the XLR Silver Dart Graphene Audio Interconnect cables for my VPI Avenger Reference turntable.

NOTE: the OCC Silver Dart - Graphene Dielectric Speaker Cables replaced my former Audio quest Gibraltar speaker cables from back in the day which I thought were good, however and in my opinion, there is no comparison to the OCC Silver Dart speaker cables - the precise articulation and clarity is the best I have heard out of my system for both audio and theater.

Outside of Zavfino's Steller cables and price points was working with Ray. This gentleman is on his toes to assist and follow up on your experience and questions. In addition, he was very responsive to my emails. In my opinion, Ray has exemplary customer service skills and was a pleasure to work with throughout this process - he truly made the difference with my larger purchase of cables - his responsiveness was a Segway into on-going customer service and support with with the Zavfino company even after the purchase - Ray thank you for making this a seamless and pleasurable experience. Silver dart and fusion XLRs

I had much more expensive single ended cables from a very well-known high-end cable manufacturer. I wanted to try balanced cables, and after doing my research chose these cables from Zavfino. I started with the fusions, and they were excellent. They were very comparable to my 10 times more expensive cables. So I decided to try the silver dart, and they are fantastic. I am extremely happy with them, and feel that they are a tremendous value for money, and competitive with any much higher priced high and cables.

Hello to Everyone,

Before giving my comments on these items, I would like to tell you that I already got the Silver Dart SC’s 5 months ago & they’re awesome!! It took me that long to save up from my earnings. 😅
The first thing that I noticed was the background noice was reduced significantly to almost negligible. I use tube amps. Then as with the SC’s, EVERYTHING substantially improved!!. All the different sounds - voices, musical & percussion instruments substantially became more defined & detailed. Bass became more evident but tight. Mids & highs also were more evident & detailed but not bright! & There were a lot of sounds that I’ve never heard before. The decay was markedly noticeable & very natural. Like tracks were being played live in front of you. Soundstage was deeper & wider with considerably more air between the listener & the different sounds & between the different sounds themselves. 3D Imaging was more pronounced with precise placement of all the instruments & voices. This is quite an investment for me. It’s expensive but compared to the competition at it’s level, this is a bargain!!.. I highly recommend these products for every audiophile out there!!
