The Majestic MKII OCC Power Cable 12AWG

Type: Power Cable

The Majestic MkII is a PC-OCC audiophile-grade power cable that brings together both high performance and exceptional value.  The MKII two version further improves on the original design by through increased shielding, strand count, conductor pitch, and increased dielectric material and insulation thickness. The Majestic MKII  incorporates generously sized (3 x 12 AWG) fine strand and sold cores of PC-OCC conductors, which ensures that your audio components will receive optimal power delivery. Its high purity design is ideal for a large selection of power components and tube amplifiers, as well as integrated amps.

Zavfino uses on only the highest purity Japanese PC-OCC single crystal copper conductors in the Fina power cord.  The 6N (99.9999%) Pure Copper (PC) Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) copper is an extremely high quality audiophile grade conductor material and greatly appreciated for its inherent naturalness, inner warmth and absence of grain.  Using a tight perfect pitch twist to construct the conductors, we deliver a no-compromise conductor with higher copper content per metre than many competing products. This tighter pitch compresses the conductor cores, which adds to the harmonically rich and complete sound Majestic and Fina series power cables.

Great care goes into the preparation and production of Majestic's PC-OCC Conductors.  To begin, before extrusion, the conductors are ultrasonically and thermally pre-cleaned and burned-in, which removes oil, residue and impurities that may be present after multi-stranding draw down.  Then, once the variable size strands are twisted into the tight pitch finished 12 AWG individual core, it is subjected again to an ultrasonic thermal clean process, this time at an even higher voltage, eliminating any final impurities, which results in the unique pre-burn / broken-in sound inherent to Zavfino cables.

The 12 AWG PC-OCC ultrasonically cleaned bare conductors are directly sent through a pressure extruder that puts 105˚ PVC insulation directly over the cores, sealing in the conductor in its purest state.  Cotton filler insulation, a 100% drain shield and two braids; the first, an anti-static direct braid red polyester and; the second, a (PET) monofilament, finish off the cable before it is terminated with Zavfino’s very high quality and robust connectors.

The end result; Fina is a power cable that is dynamically impressive and open, harmonically rich and exceptionally quiet, bringing your music to life.

Deep Cryo™ Treatment
All of the conductors used in our cables undergo Deep Cryo™ treatment before the insulation is extruded over the metals. Our research has proven that the conductor—and only the conductor— benefits from cryo-treatment. Materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC™), Teflon™, PE, and Silicon™ can all be adversely affected by cold-temperature annealing. Cryo-treating non-conductors and insulating materials can cause them to break down and become brittle.

The purity, size, and molecular structure of each conductor determine the specific temperature within the -186ºC to - a 196ºC range that we cryo-treat it at. Zavfino’s research into cold temperature physics has proven that the absolute lowest temperature is not necessarily the best for cryo-treatment.
This is a two-stage process. In the first stage we draw the bare conductor through a ceramic die into an ultrasonic cleaning chamber that bombards the conductor with multiple ultrasonic frequencies. This emulsification process removes all debris from the surface of the wire down to the molecular level and leaves absolutely zero residues.

UltraSonic 7 High Voltage / Thermal Break-in
This is a two-stage process. In the first stage we draw the bare conductor through a ceramic die into an ultrasonic cleaning chamber that bombards the conductor with multiple ultrasonic frequencies. This emulsification process removes all debris from the surface of the wire down to the molecular level and leaves absolutely zero residues. After each individual wire is processed, we strand it into bundles and then subject the bundles to further treatment. During the second stage of the ultrasonic burn-in, we increase the voltage to a higher level that’s just below the threshold of the conductor. This adjustment in temperature allows us to get a unique “break-in effect” normally associated with cables that have had 30 to 40 hours of signal and/or current run through them.

Power cable and speaker cables!

I have a McIntosh M352, wow your power cable made a difference that you can actually hear, it’s a quality made cable I’m very impressed.
I have KEF reference 3 speakers witch sound amazing but I only had the old school basic cheep monster cables. When I installed your cables and turned on my system it was incredible! The sound stage was larger and toe overall sound was better that I thought it would be, because I already thought it was amazing, but it got even better!
Just awesome! Thank you!

Superb Power Cable

Upon installation of the Majestic OCC MKII Power Cord there was a "Holy Cow" type of moment as others have described here. Placed on my NAD C298 amplifier there was immediate improvement, especially with the widening of the soundstage. Since I use two amplifiers, a separate Preamp, and a DAC, I was surprised to hear a remarkable change as it is one of five power cords in my rig. One can make a difference. You will need fair clearance from the back of your gear as this is a stiff cable, but once it's set, you will just forget about ever wanting to replace it. Will purchase another one soon to plug in my DAC.

Outstanding cable(s)

I now have 3 Majestic OCC MKII Power Cords: One 20amp version to feed my Shunyata Denali power conditioner from a dedicated power line and two 15amp versions for my two Primaluna Evo 400 mono amps. I also use two Fina OCC MKII cables for my streamer (Hifi Rose RS150B) and tube preamp (Supratek Grange) along with 2 pairs of XLR versions of the Fusion IC's for my streamer and preamp. This cost a bit of money all in and while I tried to buy used, these just rarely come on the used market and when they did come on, I was too late. My cable journey is done and I doubt that spending a lot more money would drastically improve things even further. I can only imagine any upgrade from here would provide diminishing returns, at best. My sounds stage has opened up drastically, there is more clarity and I hear a lot more details, but there is no harshness at all. Between the sound quality and the outstanding build quality (and over the top packaging), I now understand why these cables are the best kept secret. Actually, maybe not that secret anymore... Go get some, you won't regret it - your cable hunt will be over.

Majestic MKII Power Cord

These are wonderful sounding power cords. Amazing performance and build quality at a very modest price. I've been an audiophile for 50+ years and have owned many cables from budget to extreme and everything in-between. These cables have replaced some very expensive well known and respected cables in my system. Raymond is a pleasure to work with providing top notch service.

A Titan Power Cable

I purchased this incredible cable about 6 weeks ago. My Prima Luna integrated tube amp has never sounded better. The open and wide sound stage brings music to life. When you close your eyes you feel like your surrounded by the lively instruments. I thought I had a decent power cable until I plugged the Majestic MKII OCC Power Cable into my amp. WOW! Anyone thinking about upgrading their power cable for any tube component needs to give this cable a try. You won't be disappointed. Highly Recommended !!
