The ZV-500 utilizes a specially engineered slotted DIN housing allowing the user to know the direction of the DIN in cases where the user cannot see the opposite DIN located inside the tonearm or under the turntable. Ideal for when a user wants to change to a new cable without moving or adjusting their tonearm or turntable setup. Also allows the customer to know the DIN is slotted correctly so the internal male Din does not get damaged. This DIN assembly allows for the individual pins to turn with the direction of the wire during the soldering process reducing the stress on the solder joints and risk of damage to the pin or wire. Each pin has a solder cup for easier and more secure termination and the housing is high temperature PTFE opposed to acrylic, which provides for a superior dielectric as well as ensures years of flawless operation.
